Also known as Alsafi, Sigma Draconis is located about 18.8 light-years (ly) away from Sol, in the northwestern part of the constellation Draco.

Sigma Draconis was one of the top 100 target stars for NASA's planned Terrestrial Planet Finder (TPF).

Fiction

The planet Alsafi II (name?) is terraformed, with a ~250-day orbit. Yet to be mentioned in story.
