G-5 type star, the title star of The Eridani Convergence (a bit brighter than Tau Ceti).
Also known as 82 G. Eridani (for Gould catalog), e Eridani and HD20794. Determined to have at least two, possibly three "super-Earths" in relatively close orbit.
