Traumapod

Something of a cross between the current traumapod used by some of today's military (although more compact) and the "autodoc" of Larry Niven's Known Space stories. It can robotically repair minor trauma injuries and acute infections, as well as put the patient into a state somewhere between a medically induced coma and cold-sleep hibernation. Fancier models cost more, naturally. Fairly standard equipment on all but the smallest ships and medical facilities.
