Orbital period approximately 15/20 Earth's, so ~273.94 standard days. (In The Eridani Convergence, Roberts mentions that Tanith has been settled for "twenty local years, so about fifteen Earth years.")

It was named for HARPS, “High Accuracy Radial-velocity Planet Searcher”, the astronomical instrument which had, over a century ago, first discovered the large exoplanets orbiting the star.
