A yellow-orange dwarf star (type G5-8) about 19.9 light years from our sun, Sol. Very slightly larger, heavier and brighter than Sol. A planet in its habitable zone would be slightly further from it than Earth is from the Sun, and its year would be about a month longer than Earth's. Figures for its metallicity range from 0.95 to 2.7 times as enriched as Sol, and while its age is unknown, it could be as much as 2 billion years older than our sun.
Fictional
The planet Delta Pavonis III, or Verdigris, is habitable and hosts at least two human settlements, Verdigris City and New Toronto. It was home to a near-extinct neolithic-level intelligent species. (See Verdigris for additional detail.)
