Stars within ten parsecs (32.7 light years) of Sol/Earth, plus a few others mentioned in the books. Ten parsecs comprises all the human-inhabited worlds of T-Space, some further out have been visited or surveyed at least briefly. (Note, even within ten parsecs, not all the stars have been visited, in general red dwarf stars are less interesting to humans.)
